Understand the reserved policy-controlled AI-to-device boundary and its current availability.

Contract only; not a customer feature

ngz_iot_ai reserves a future boundary for policy-controlled device capabilities. This reference records a source scaffold. AI-to-device workflows are currently unavailable.

Current state

The module is an empty stream scaffold with build/package registration and scaffold tests. It has no public directives.

Not implemented:

capability topics
command authorization and response correlation
telemetry summarization
MCP interoperability
an AI gateway integration

Intended guardrails

Any future implementation must reuse broker auth, ACL, rate, audit, session, and rules authority. Every command must deny before emission when policy fails, and every permitted command needs an auditable timeout and response contract.

nginz-token is not a dependency. Do not load this module expecting a functional customer capability.
